Here's how you know the election was not stolen.
Not one lawyer representing Trump alleged widespread fraud in open court. Not a single one. Why?
Perhaps they knew that wilfully lying in open court to a judge could see their licence revoked.
In fact in one of several Pennsylvania cases, Trump attorneys actually signed a legal document in which they stated,
“Petitioners do not allege, and there is no evidence of, any fraud in connection with the challenged ballots; Petitioners do not allege, and there is no evidence of, any misconduct in connection with the challenged ballots; Petitioners do not allege, and there is no evidence of, any impropriety in connection with the challenged ballots; Petitioners do not allege, and there is no evidence of, any undue influence committed with respect to the challenged ballots.”
His lawyers have acknowledged that they are not claiming that dead people voted or that occasional computer glitches were part of a deliberate conspiracy.
Even Giuliani admitted in court that “This is not a fraud case.” In the same case, Trump lawyer Linda Kearns said explicitly that she is “not proceeding” on allegations of fraud.
So on the one hand we have conspiracy theorists like My Pillow CEO pedalling unproven allegations of fraud, and on the other Trump's own lawyers who admit in court they cannot argue widespread fraud.
Who do we believe? People who have spent years studying the law? Or a man who sells a sleeping product, who has been fined and has settled multiple lawsuits related to misleading advertising such as scientifically unsupported claims that its pillows could cure insomnia and ailments such as sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, and multiple sclerosis?
