A little long !

It is a discussion about the value of applying individual, good commonsense, to [solve or ameliorate] any crisis.

[bureaucracies have no skill or real utility, in these areas. once one is established, a bureaucracy's main function/objective, soon becomes to learn [above all else] how to make itself indispensable to those its 'existence' supposedly 'serves'. once it is established, a bureaucracy soon becomes a corrupt and incompetent, self-serving beast.

No I havent listened to it yet, but this seems to be one of those contrarian things where people don't accept the current status and then look for all sorts of ways to oppose it.

My thing with the ivermectin is that if it was so effective, we'd be getting a lot of trials with strong evidence that it works not just for mild but severe COVID. THat doesn't seem to be the case.

I agree that maybe there needs to be bigger trials, but we shouldnt prescribe it.
