Not really, that's what i said. Kids being born here doesn't make them Australian citizens.

Anyone who enters without a valid visa is entering illegally, regardless of intent or purpose.  Its hilarious that you and others continue to argue this, if they are not illegal then the government would have no authority to detain them you knucklehead.

Not according to the Immigration Act.  We are also signatories of the UN Convention on Refugees.  We legally not allowed to close our borders to those seeking asylum. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You better read the Immigration Act again, you're not reading it right

The UN Convention on Refugees is not binding

They weren't/are not asylum seekers, they are unlawful intruders

Wrong on the first count. Right on the second count. To solve this riddle for yourself you need to ask yourself and answer 2 questions.  1. Are these people being detained? 2. Under what authority are they being detained? When you gain the answer to these questions you will know and understand, grasshopper.

The parents both entered illegally/unlafully. They both claiimed asylum and met here while waiting for their cases to be dermined. They gad a kid while waiting  but their refugee claim was rejected. They appealed and had another kid while that appeal went through the courts. Neither kid is an Australian citizen since being birn here doesnt confer automatic citizenship.

They lost their appealS. Now the agitators want all that lawful process to be ignored.

Why have laws, courts, appeals and final decisions  if they are to be ignored in preference for illegal/unlawful entrants who do not accept the lawful operation of our rules?

You overstay your visas ... you're here illegally.

They were refused resident visas on more than one occasion...

They hid in Bilo until authorities caught up with them....

they had children(anchor babies) despite not having any legal status here....

they've been back to Sri Lanka( the place they fled supposedly in fear of their lives) at least twice

What they have done is similar to the African women who present in the UK heavily pregnant, have the child there then make claims to stay because their child is born in the UK.

Weaponising their children...........

I only hope there hasn't been some Munchausen syndrome by proxy involved in the illness of their child.
