Our current dislike on asylum seekers/illegal immigrants stems from the Howard government's quite successful children overboard scandal. Although it was the Keating government that introduced mandatory detention.

Since then we've lauded Abbott's claim that he stopped the boats We don't know for sure because he stopped media reporting on any boat arrivals, a practice continued by the Turnbull and Morrison governments and likely a Albanese government.

In fact, Morrison himself is quoted as saying the Government would “never” declare victory over asylum seekers arriving by boat as there will always be those who try to give it a go.

Now we have a little girl being treated for sepsis in Perth as a result of untreated pneumonia.

If Morrison is right, that there will always be those who try to give it a go, then why are we making these children suffer?

The actions of the parents are responsible too.

Sins of the father yeah?

Having the children here gives them a free pass?......

So it was correct .... they are anchor babies.

Innocent people who are well respected and wanted by the Australian community they lived with....Two innocent young girls who were born in Australia and deserve our protection....The only reason these people are denied protection is because racist arse holes put labels on minorities and protest they are all the same....Complete bullshit fueled by racism and stupidity!!!

Either there is a law that applies to all or there isn't. The law has spoken repeatedly about these claims and rejected them every time.
