When I did a toothbrushing scrub of my teeth using baking soda, last night, I washed the mouth out a few times. Then I started experiencing the aching feeling. My unqualified dental diagnosis was that my teeth had moved ever so slightly and let the gum disease leak a little. Today, I have a slight sore throat, most likely the result of swallowing the elevated levels of the build up.
Quote:By clearing up a cold you mean reducing symptoms. But the symptoms are your immune system fighting the cold.
When I get those sort of sore throats or aching teeth or even a prolonged headache, I do usually use aspro clear to help counter the symptoms. Perhaps the headache is stemming from the body fighting the infection. But, I would rather that the paracetamol (or whatever it is called) be used to fight the soreness so that I can sleep and work better.
If you are claiming that the asprin is attacking the immune system or doing something that prevents the immune system from being able to fight the cold, I do not know that. I understand that some of the symptoms include that which helps fight the cold. You convinced me of that. But, it is all about countering the pain I have from having a cold.
I drink Berocca, black or green tea, lemon juice, lime juice and some other home remedies that I use to fight a cold. I have to basically cut sugar near completely out of my diet during my illness. But asprin is only a partial measure in countering my cold symptoms -- soreness and headaches.
