Melbourne had 5 kilometer restriction. Sydney had none before. That's the why it takes longer and not under control at all.

New South Wales has recorded 50 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday, breaking yesterday's record for the highest number of daily cases since April last year.

Of these locally acquired cases, 37 are linked to a known case or cluster, 14 are household contacts and 23 are close contacts. The source of infection for 13 cases remains under investigation.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has called on more people to come forward for testing after 42,000 people were tested for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
The number of people hospitalised with COVID-19 has grown again overnight with a teenager also now being treated in ICU.

What do you recommend ? The Trump method and see if we can get to 600,000?

You really hate our success in saving lives ?

Even NoGo has done ok.

america

CDC estimates that influenza was associated with 45 million illnesses, 21 million medical visits, 810,000 hospitalizations, and 61,000 deaths during the 2017–2018 influenza season.

and for oz....

While 2019 saw the highest number of influenza cases across the country, 2017 still holds the record for the highest number of flu-related deaths, with over 1,100 cases.

Last year there were over 900 influenza linked deaths in Australia

but the catastrophic death rate this year from covid stands at
2

I take a few months off and you're still spouting the same bullshit.

You're complaining that the measures we've all taken to keep the death rate low are unnecessary because the death rate is low...

You can type so you're not fully retarded, but you're not far off...

Nothing has changed in the time away... Unbelievable.

Aren't you bored of this poo?

not bored at all.

i'm still trying to help people live a worthwhile life.

heres an experiment for you skippy.

go and sit on a chair in your bathroom by yourself.

just sit there.

you will find that anxiety starts to well up very quickly.

you will feel anxious and stressed the longer you are there.

anxiety , fear, stress....these are the default emotions and they are very painful.

I'm sorry that this is your experience in life, but it's not the default.  You're projecting your own insecurities and likely undiagnosed mental health issues onto the rest of us.

I don't blame you.  I often judge others based on what I would do which is why I'm so often let down by people.  What's normal for me, things like taking an evidence-based approach to my opinions and looking for dissenting views and opinions to challenge my own, I shouldn't project that onto others.  It may be my normal, my default, but it's not for everyone.

Like you.

You seem time and time again to ignore the things that don't support your views.

The simple truth is, our death count is low because of the actions we've taken.  You complain that the actions we've taken are unnecessary because the death count is low.

The truth is, that's simply proof our actions are working.  But you don't like those actions so you want to paint it as something else.

When you're in lockdown, you're anxious, you're scared and life is unpleasant.  I sympathise, but that just points to the issues you have at home.  Rather than wanting the virus to spread before we can all be vaccinated, more people to face lifelong health issues or even die, just get help you selfish bastard.

Lockdowns, check-ins, social distancing etc, they're all a challenge on a personal level, let alone economic.  But man up, stop being a bitch and deal with your own problems, don't advocate for others face greater problems so you can run from yours.

Problems don't make you weak, we all have them.  Being a coward and running from them or lying about them, that mixed with the toxic ideas of masculinity you hold makes you one of the worst types of people out there, weak and pathetic.

I'm not trying to shame you for having problems, but your method of dealing with them, or in that case running from them, you should be ashamed.

But I dare say you also hold a stunning lack of empathy for your fellow man despite your lipservice to the idea.

If you actually cared about other people and their experience during lockdowns you'd be advocating for us all to do the right thing so we can get through this quicker.

But you're not you big baby.

oh please.

its not me that has problems.

any society which puts the needs of old people in front of the needs of kids is doomed.

i can see you lot on the titanic.

loading the old codgers into the lifeboats because they are just as valuable as children.

disgraceful stuff .

what is good for my kids and grandkids takes precedence over what is good for me.
