oh please.
its not me that has problems.
Again, I don't mean to belittle your mental health issues and I was not trying to trigger you.

i can see you lot on the titanic.
loading the old codgers into the lifeboats because they are just as valuable as children.
disgraceful stuff .
You're all over the shop mate, get it together. I know I may have hit a little to close to home but you don't have to have a meltdown.
On one hand, you're saying that COVID is nothing for the young to worry about (despite the medical evidence and age groups of those in ICU in NSW at the moment), with the Titanic, a disaster that if you weren't in a life boat, you were guaranteed to die.
So which is it, is COVID nothing to worry about, or a death sentence?
Or are you just being manipulative and disingenuous with your comparison?

whats wrong with you
As it should be. But that's not what you're advocating for. You want the virus to run while so you don't have to be scared and anxious at home...
Once we're all vaccinated this is the goal, it won't be as transmissible in the community and those vaccinated have a much lower chance of getting any illness or needing hospitalization.
But until then, the virus running wild through the community gives it a chance to mutate and evolve, as we're seeing. The delta variant is far more contagious and it's not just "old people" who are at risk of having a severe reaction to it.
We can't keep locking down forever, nobody wants that anyway, but we need to have a plan to reopen and return to life as normal, or to a point of "living with the virus".
Sadly we've been let down by our federal leadership as they are the ones responsible for our border security and quarantine system but most importantly the Vaccine rollout which is paramount to that end.
Instead of cherry-picking numbers, projecting your mental health issues and weaknesses onto everyone else, hold those responsible to account.
The Federal Government needs to do better, supported by the states and local health systems once they can secure enough vaccines and we can all put this behind us and you can go back to obsessing over young boys playing big men and how bad women are.
the restrictions have zero effect on me. my businesses are essential services and to do with food production. i can go where i please. if i want to go and buy hay in the hunter valley i can get a permit in 3 minutes on line and be on my way.
what affects me is seeing my grandkids and kids missing out on the adventures of childhood, missing out on playing school footy and spending school holidays at the beach.
unlike the current crop of incredibly selfish older australians who have made this all about them, i have had a greqt life and could not care a toss if i got covid compared to the pain of seeing grandkids miss out on human flourishing.
