Quite possibly.

Because, as has also been mentioned here a few times in the past - if no-one got tested for Covid from today onwards there would be zero cases.

Unless some people with Covid were sick enough to have to go to hospital then they would know they had it for sure.

We've seen it with all the people who won't social distance or wear masks, etc. These same people won't bother getting tested for Covid if they believe they only have a common cold or the flu. Especially, as I've said, when they know they would have to spend at least 14 days in quarantine if they tested positive for Covid.

You're dead right, Carl - the numbers we have are just of people tested, not all people.

The real figure is obviously much, much higher.

I've actually met people who have told me that they would never get tested because it's the test that gives you the virus.

Unfortunately, one of those people is in my own family.

They also believe that mammograms cause breast cancer.

Most oldies have had at least one shot which prevents serious illness.
90% of people don't even know they have Covid.
Shouldn't we open up?

Yeah - open it up and let it rip -
I feel safe now after my one shot of AZ.

I believe you're well covered 2 weeks after the first shot. You need to hide under the bed for another week!!

BTW, my 2nd Pizzer shot was cancelled because I had a tummy virus, so rescheduled for next week.

Wow - we'll both be OK in about a week or so.

We'll have a suit of armor against the invisible enemy.

Since the lockdown started, all the eastern beaches, parks, coast walks, harbour walks etc etc have been off the hook busy and guess what. Hardly any community transmission. All the new cases are in a totally different area, south west. Why?

Because Covid doesn't spread outside.

Just imagine how pissed off you'll be if you have
a 112 day lockdown like we endured?

Mammograms are x-raying of breast tissue, yeah? We know radiation causes cancer so there is that. The question is does the equivalent of 6 months background radiation shot through your breast outweigh the risks? And the answer to that is a resounding yes, just as it is for vaccines.

From last week.

The streets of Sydney were silent overnight but it was a different story hours earlier, with pictures revealing large crowds at Bondi Beach despite the city experiencing its first lockdown in six months.

From today.

The Premier said the Delta outbreak NSW has been battling for three weeks had moved from Sydney's eastern suburbs to the south-west.

"We are pretty confident the virus isn't spreading in [the east] now but we have seen some concerning statistics on what is happening in the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool council areas," she said.

Grin As my old mate Leftwinger would have said, Kpow.

The evidence is very clear that outdoor spaces are safer than indoors," Prof Chris Whitty, the UK's chief medical officer, has said.
What makes the outdoors safer?

Researchers say infections can happen outdoors, but the chances are massively reduced.

Fresh air disperses and dilutes the virus.

It also helps to evaporate the liquid droplets in which it is carried.

On top of that, ultraviolet light from the Sun should kill any virus that's out in the open.

Covid: Can you catch the virus outside?

"Researchers say infections can happen outdoors ..."

Melbourne’s mask rule: is there evidence Covid spreads outdoors and how does it occur?

"Though seemingly not a factor in Victoria’s outbreak, outdoor transmission does happen, and it’s something authorities clearly want to avoid".

KaPow

Near-absent are examples of transmission at beaches and other open spaces where breezes disperse airborne particles, distancing is easier, and humidity and sunlight render the coronavirus less viable.

Beaches and parks “are some of the safest places you can gather,” said Linsey Marr, an expert on airborne virus transmission at Virginia Tech.
