Been following this for the past few days. A lot of people (myself included) believe he has 'inside information' from someone at NSW Health.
Gladys Berejiklian quizzed over TikTok star Jon-Bernard Kairouz COVID-19 case 'predictions'
https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/coronavirus/gladys-berejiklian-quizzed... Quote:Premier Gladys Berejiklian has been asked whether there is a "compromise" within NSW Health after a Sydney man correctly "predicted" the number of COVID-19 cases the last few days on social media.
Here's the latest:
Jon-Bernard Kairouz ‘predicts’ how many new COVID-19 cases NSW Health will announce on Monday
https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/health-wellbeing/jon-bernard-kairouz-predicts-how... Quote:Jon-Bernard Kairouz, the comedian who has successfully forecast the number of new NSW COVID-19 cases on TikTok for the past five days, has predicted Gladys Berejiklian will announce 109 new infections on Monday.
Kairouz has continued to deny claims he has inside information, instead vowing he used “simple maths” to successfully predict the number of new cases in NSW.
So, Gladys should be announcing
109 new cases today. Let's see if that's right (she wouldn't deliberately announce an incorrect number just to try and prove this guy wrong, now would she?).
Oh, and...
Quote:Kairouz explained on Saturday how his calculations stack up.
“We take into account many factors,” he explained.
“Last night we took into account how many granny flats there are in southwest Sydney, the diameter of Fairfield, the population of Sydney, the current infectious cases in the community, then we chuck it in the algorithm and see what kind of result we get.
“Another big factor for me is, when I was younger, I had a crayon lodged in my brain and once I had that removed my IQ went up 50 points, so I’m able to calculate these complex mathematical algorithms.”

If people don't believe he's winding everyone up (and actually has 'insider information') after reading that then there's something wrong with them.
