A lot of people in NSW are probably wondering why this sort of thing is still happening.
Natalie Portman and Sacha Baron Cohen spotted taking boat ride in Sydney while under lockdown
https://www.perthnow.com.au/entertainment/movies/natalie-portman-and-sacha-baron... Quote:While much of Sydney is hunkered down under stay-at-home orders, Hollywood A-Listers Natalie Portman and Sacha Baron Cohen were making the most of the sunshine.
The power pair was spotted in Pittwater, north of Sydney, taking a boat ride with Portman’s husband, Benjamin Millepied.
They were spied on a rented boat with Portman and Millepied’s children, plus Cohen’s children with his Perth-raised wife, Isla Fisher.
According to Sydney’s stay-stay-at home rules, which apply to people residing in the Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas, people are only allowed to leave home if they have a ‘reasonable excuse’.
Quote:Portman had been in Australia to put the finishing touches on Thor: Love and Thunder, a sequel to 2017’s highly successful Thor: Ragnarok.
Ah, of course... that would have to be classified as an "essential service".
No wonder so many 'normal' people won't follow lockdown rules, etc.
Oh, and...
Quote:New South Wales Police said they were aware of the boat ride and were “conducting inquiries into the matter”.
Yeah, I'll bet they are. And, I'll also bet this is probably the last we'll hear of it.
