Israel starts administering third dose of
Pfizer vaccine to at-risk adults.

TEL AVIV — Israel’s Ministry of Health on Monday began offering a third dose of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine to severely immunocompromised adults in what health experts say could be the first phase of an experiment to provide coronavirus booster shots for older people and the most vulnerable.

The recommendation, published Sunday by the ministry, said the goal of the new program was to raise antibody levels among immunocompromised citizens, including cancer patients, recipients of liver transplants, and others who have recently exhibited weakened vaccine protection, according to data. It said that it had still not made a decision on administering third shots for the general adult population.

It remained unclear on Monday where U.S. officials stood on the need for a third shot for vulnerable Americans. While several senior officials believe it will be appropriate to recommend boosters for the elderly and immunocompromised, Pfizer still must receive emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration for its third dose and a CDC advisory panel must decide whether and to whom to recommend boosters. That process could take several weeks or months.

You have missed the point.
The vaccines are not 100% effective.
Some say that the AstraZeneca is only
60% effective against the Delta variant.

We may all need a 3rd dose.

The point is that the world has been conned by the sore throat virus. Most people do not even know that they have had coronavirus. Vaccinating people a third dose does not help someone's immune system any better than the one or two shots have done.

If your immune system is not up to standard after even just one vaccine shot, you should probably stay at home and keep away from coughing people.

So, this is about having people take vaccines every year to ward off a virus that most people do not know having had or have had mild symptoms. Making people rely on the government to save them. I understand.

It won't be over in Australia this year.

Even if we have the 1 million jabs per week the
job still won't be done before 2022.
that's because - say you are going to jab 20 million people
that would take 40 million jabs or 40 weeks.
We have how many people already jabbed?

We need to be jabbing 5 million people per week -
that we would have the job done in 2 months.
We have neither the vaccine nor the infrastructure to do it.
We also have vaccine hesitancy.

Then we'll find out we need a 3rd jab.
