Of course you can wear a ceremonial dagger, Akbah Singh - but only if it's a rubber one.  don;t whinge - it's only ceremonial anyway, you woos!

85mm?  nearly 3.5 inches?  Plenty long enough to pierce a cardium....

Aaargh - stick that in your ear, Whartey!! Or stick that up your arse!  (ouch).... oh, you brute - only 85 mm!!

A coma is a deep state of unconsciousness. It can happen as a result of a traumatic accident, such as a blow to the head, or a medical condition, for example, some types of infection. Coma is different from sleep because the person is unable to wake up. It is not the same as brain death. The person is alive, but they cannot respond in the normal way to their environment.

Yes but are you ok?

I remember a classmate in primary school always had a pairing knife for peeling his apple etc. He was a bit of a nutter. But no-one ever got stabbed. He tried to crack my head open with a flat tennis ball once.

I always carried a pocket-knife at high-school as I did tech drawing and used
it, legitimately, to get a better point to my drawing pencils.

I'd then touch-up the points with a strip of emery glued to a piece of timber.

Anyone do TD at school and remember what they were called, by everyone
including the teacher?

I'll give you a clue - it began with 'N' and ended in 'R'. Six letters.

NO-ONE batted so much as an eyelid.

Beware the Sikh, he or she is probably armed legally and very dangerous being of the religious nutter types, there knives are usually very sharp as well as that kid in the schoolyard will attest.

You wouldn't want one of those poked in your eye or elsewhere!

Anything can be used as a weapon.

Anything if abused can be picked up and used.

The banning of knives at school is reasonable.

But banning the general public from having a pocket knife is draconian and simply stupid.

They should allow everyone to carry fire arms to shoot their way out of trouble.  Guns beat knives 20:1 in US. Most Australian homicide was by knife in 2020.

Back in the day i was in the cadets and we used to walk around the school yard with 303's, any number of kids could have gotten hold of some cartridges and blown away a few bullies.

Times have changed and the innocence has long gone, giving religious nutters the right to carry weapons in schools nonetheless is religious pandering gone nuts. oi

During Indonesia's confrontation days, we had butter knives fitted as bayonets during combat training in school cadets.  The idea was adopted by the RAR, taken to the front line trenches in Malaysia and caused terror to Sukarno. He withdrew and signed the surrender at Butterworth, named for the Australian victory.

Oh no it's starting to be a peoples' right-to bear-weapons dispute.  A pocket knife, fags and two bob for the phone-box are everyone's right.

Only Sikhs and cops are allowed bear-weapons in Australia.
