2. The speed of product development from inception to market; and

Theft, lies, coercion and cover-ups.

Enter the idiot Musk with his Tesla into China under the Chinese regime (not that he wasn't warned).

So, what happened?

1. 'Random' woman shows up at a Shanghai international auto show. She jumps on the Tesla Model 3 shouting, 'Tesla Brakes Failed!'. She's wearing a T-shirt which in Chinese reads 'Brake Failure'.

2. Another woman dressed in the same T-shirt also shouts 'Tesla Brakes Failed!', indicating that this was an organized, pre-arranged 'protest'.

3. The the regime-controlled media, Xinhua, jumped on the story (as did People’s Daily) claiming Tesla was being arrogant (Chinese fixation with 'arrogance' and 'unintelligence' seems to be a widespread self-projection in mainland China).

4. The regime's 'Central Political and Legal Affairs Committee' got involved, whose business is usually oppression and murder of people and groups the regime fears or dislikes.

5. Turns out the 'protester' at the auto show had been supplied a media pass (as the show was only open to approved media personnel). She was driven to the exhibition and given a media pass from Webasto, a sunroof supplier of NIO, one of the main Chinese electric car makers. She stupidly (unintelligence?) had posted the details on her TikTok account.

Tesla's sales are dramatically dropping in China under the regime.

As Musk was warned: The regime will steal the technology, then shut you out of the Chinese market and destroy the Tesla company in China...

So don't say you weren't warned, Musk.

1. Supporting business sectors requires bribes of up to 30% of the investment capital paid to regime officials.
2. Due to the loss of profit from bribes and the requirement for 'speed at all costs', manufacturers simply and massively cut corners (explains why 'tofu buildings' are a thing under the regime).
3. Chinese supply chains will soon be gone, not least as a result of the regime's actions making it happen.

The program is due to be fully operational by 2020, but is being piloted for millions of people already. The scheme is mandatory.

At the moment the system is piecemeal – some are run by city councils, others are scored by private tech platforms which hold personal data.

Like private credit scores, a person’s social score can move up and down depending on their behaviour. The exact methodology is a secret – but examples infractions include bad driving, smoking in non-smoking zones, buying too many video games and posting fake news online.
