Neither am I. I haven't heard any local feedback about it at all here but we are as far away as you. I'd like to know but knowing that our family had been invited to climb it, wife included, by an elder from Murwillumbah, that's 14Km from Mt Warning, I would suggest they do not. We'd already given him a lift so it wasn't to gain something except maybe good will.

From what little I've read, the aboriginal nation that lived in this area roamed an area that extended from Ipswich to Ballina and possibly even beyond that. They were never located just on the Gold Coast as FD is pretending.

From what little I've read, the aboriginal nation that lived in this area roamed an area that extended from Ipswich to Ballina and possibly even beyond that. They were never located just on the Gold Coast as FD is pretending.

That's the part I'd like to know but I don't know if there is any pretend, that's to be shown, not name calling/deflecting about it. If GC indigenous are driving this and leaving out the voices of everyone else in an 70Km radius, especially those that are immediate to it as they would be the most to gain from having some $ coming in, it would not appear to be some "indigenous" as a "homogeneous identity" decision but a power play.

Just checking Meat industry awards. A Jewish butcher owner has to pay double time for Christmas Day. Oy Vey!! ( Even for Jewish employees)
