So you are saying it is systematic because it is systematic? In that case, can you explain how it is systematically systematic?

Would aborigines who are guaranteed a job be forced to move to where the job is actually available, or would the job have to move to them? Also, would they have to actually do any work?

No, I'm saying involuntary long-term unemployment is a systemic failure of neoliberal/neoclassical orthodoxy, because there is always more useful work and more prospective workers than the competitive market alone can support.

There is always useful work, not necessarily supported by the private sector, needing to be done in any community.

eg environmental care, people care, local self-sufficiency etc; hence the practicability of a Job Guarantee as promoted by Cherneva.

Let's take it slowly, for the slow learners.

1. Long term unemployment represents systemic failure, because there is always more work to be done than there are people to do the work.

2. The private sector job market is competitive by design, which means the least capable will be the most disadvantaged in that job market. Hence the need for government to act as employer of last resort, via the Job Guarantee.
