Anti-vaxxers should not protest
They should get vaccinated

People who run gyms small businesses restaurants cafes tourism businesses
Who have been vaccinated
Have every right to protest about the ridiculous destruction and demolition of their life's work

I totally support them
They are heroic individuals

In contrast to the bedwetting chode who enjoys a good lockdown

Who enjoys a  lockdown?

No-one does
But we're always glad to see them initiated

- when needed
- and not weighed up against political ramifications

Do you think the gym owner who is currently living on bread and dripping is enjoying a lockdown as much as the public servant who is still accruing his sick pay holiday pay long service leave domestic violence leave covid leave carer's leave and bereavement leave as well as his superannuation

You're forgetting that Scoot needs to create an enemy he thinks he's better than and then he chooses to spar with that imaginary foe so he can score a Win.

Nobody wants to be locked down.  But if he argues that anyone who follows the medial advice, when he's not lying about what that is, is only doing so because they're too scared to go outside, it makes his advocating for death to show how big and strong he is seem less weak.

Which let's be honest, he pushes so hard here for all of this because he is weak and has lost the argument to the women in his family who are in charge.  He's so against lockdowns because under their thumb, he feels "locked down".

1. There is no way any gym owner is going to be eating dripping.
2. The public srvants I know are still working at home. The government departments are all running  to keep this country going, they're just doing it from home

For the Sydney protest 4 weeks ago, police said about 3500 people attended and all the news organisations went with that. I mostly watched ABCs coverage and they only showed tight ahots of the trouble makers.  Social media footage showed at least 10x that amount, and most people looked like everyday folk, and even loads of families and kids.

Bread and dripping was a metaphor?
I know a gym owner with a massive mortgage for his business.  Odds are he'll lose his house.

People's situation largely dictates their opinion on the lockdowns.

Never sure with aqua, he probably literally means dripping. Plus no one is arguing against the effects of lockdowns on small business etc, I'm more arguing that no one is particularly loving the whole situation.

Some people love it. I know some public servants working from home, no kids, making the same money they always make, accruing holiday pay, long service leave, super. They couldn't give a bugger apart from not being able to go to their favorite restaurants. Cops love it, getting more overtime than they can handle.

absolutely gordon.

they should work out how much income has dropped for gym owners, resturant owners, tourism operators etc.

say it 40 %.

then every politician, police officer, public servant and pensioner should have their pay cut by 40 %.

then we can truly say "we are all in this together"
