Outside masks NSW

Masks are now mandatory outdoors in NSW unless you're exercising.

There are stories coming in of power-tripping cops deciding that exercise is not vigorous enough to be classified as mask free exercise. KaChing $500. People dropping their mask to take a bite of food, KaChing $500. Old people out for a stroll surround by cops, KaChing $500.

I happened to be at the workout court today, and the reasonable cops were coaching people how not to get pinged. Great, but I reckon they're not in the majority.

Not a single case of COVID-19 in NSW has been transmitted in an outdoor setting, health authorities have confirmed.
NSW Health told Nine reporter Chris O'Keefe that throughout the entire pandemic, not a single confirmed case of COVID transmission has been found to have occurred outdoors.

I'm always highly suspicious of tiktok no matter what it shows. Around Canberra I havent seen or heard any of that behaviour from cops.

Mask wearing is not bullshit though, it may not be necessary outside, but people are lazy you need to build good habits.

I've noticed 100% mask compliance in shops, coffee lines etc.
This is a step too far and it's being enforced with a heavy hand for something that is ultimately BS.

Probably a good way to make people anti mask.

If NSW Health really DID say that - and I'm a little sceptical - I'd say Alan Jones must have been passing through and picked up the phone on this reporters enquiry

There is NO SUCH TEST to determine if the virus was caught INSIDE - or OUTSIDE

If a virus can jump off someone in hotel quarantine
Exit under the hotel room door
March down the hallway to the next hotel room
Enter under the next hotel room door
And infect the someone in that room - also in hotel quarantine

... it tells me "anything is possible"

I daresay it was NSW Health that made the masks recommendation
Going on her past dithering approach and strategies - I doubt Gladys thought it up on her own
