To NOT intervene in the affairs of African peoples in Africa is heartless.

I'm a flawed Christian.

Isn't it those who are flawed, who come to the Lord for forgiveness ?

I must be flawless. Huh

Not me.

I'm flawed, and i'm continually reminded of that fact,   ....by my own conscience.

The only "trangressions" that matter are the ones you commit against your fellow man, seek forgiveness from them rather than a hypothetical third party not personally involved. I guess you are just trying to make Jesus' sacrifice worth something, he'd have died for nothing if you didn't sin.

We were brow beaten as kids if we couldn't finish our dinner with “Think of all the starving children in Africa”. We'd say send it to them then.

I've also reminded you on several occasions but I didn't think it sunk in

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Luke 6: 24-25
24 Woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.
25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.

Do you believe that too?

I believe that God, is a perfect judge.

He judges in righteousness, unlike men.

Psalms 40:4
Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Romans 12:9
.....Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Q.
What does the word Abhor mean ???

.

Proverbs 29:27
An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

Amos 5:14
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
15  Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Psalms 4:1
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2  O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3  But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4  Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6  There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7  Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8  I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

After Covid, what has happened to the dire and grave concern for Africa? In the last 18 months, for the first time in my life, I have not heard “Think of all the starving children in Africa.”

There are still pockets of malnutrition in Africa. However, much of the starvation that went on in the 1980s and the 1990s have been corrected. In actuality, there has been a focus on various African nations with an obesity epidemic. There is a decline in destitution in African countries. Food is being grown and distributed more conscienciously. And birth rates are on a decline in just about every African country. These are features that happened long before the Kung Flu made headlines.

The United Nations has been saying they are going to help Africa out of the third world for ever and a day.

The truth is the United Nations is owned by the oligarchy and the oligarchy have Africa right where they want her.

Every African country with good resources, wealth in the ground has a dictator appointed he installs fear into the people while selling the wealth of his nation to the oligarchy.

Of course the dictator lives like a king and has his own little army to protect him.

Africa is right where the elite want her to pillage and rape her when ever they feel like it.

Africa is free, multicultural and self-directing.   Do you want to tell them how to run their own countries, like you tried with the multicultural Afghan People's Democratic, Diverse and Vibrant Republic,  white supremacist know-it-all oppressor?

Do you???

Frank suffers from Altzheimers, leftards. He forgets screaming for the invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and every Arab country with the exception of Saudi Arabia.

White man's burden, innit. Colonialism ended far too soon. Ban them, kill them, carpetbomb them.

True, but the oligarchy are stingy, allowing China to go in with cheap loans and infrastructure.

The same thing's happening here, in the Pacific. Not only does China have state funds, it can redirect its oligarchs' private investment and send in entire workforces of mobile Chinese workers.

The Western oligarchs can't compete. Not only do we not have armies of construction workers at our disposal, we don't have the capital.

Pre-covid, I visited Sihanoukville, in Cambodia. The Chinese are busy turning a once sleepy regional seaside town into a Chinese holiday resort with high rise hotels and casinos. Few jobs for the locals, the workers were all Chinese.

The West doesn't work like this - no mobile labour force, no state-directed investment. But then, what happens to all that Chinese investment when something like covid hits?
