A man who claimed he could cure people of illness and that COVID-19 wasn’t real is now fighting for life after contracting the virus.

Mohammed Shaar, a Muslim preacher and natural healer, had spent weeks preaching that vaccines were ineffective and that the pandemic was a myth.

”I’m worried a bit more about what’s happening in Sydney and why is it that they are targeting these specific areas - Guilford, Yennora,” he said in a video to his followers, before adding: “I’m against the vaccine.”
