pfizer make a drug called lipitor that lower cholesterol.
it reduces the chance of a stroke or heart attack by way way less then 45 %.

but they can make HUGE profits off it, so nearly everone is on it.

and the cost ?
Lipitor® was the top selling prescription medication in the United States in 2010 with over $7B in total revenue.

it would be a billion in australia as well.

why would merk promote ivermectin ???
it sells for pennies.

Literally lots of people are on aspirin for reducing blood clotting. Lipitor works via a completely different mechanism for reducing heart attacks. Would be handy if you knew anything about pharmacodynamics.
