One thing that hasn't changed are those ugly English faces on the women of Australia.

I have no idea why but I do not find English faces very attractive.

American faces are fine. Australian faces are fine.

Just the English.

I'm personally drawn to European faces. I think Europeans are more attractive in general.

Just my personal opinion.

I have found that many "pure" English are in fact far from attractive.
The men tend to have no chin and buck teeth.
The women have too much symmetry and also have too many teeth.
Small jaws and pointed China.

From my male perspective.
I find Irish far more attractive in general, although not always.
Scott's are sometimes quite attractive.

The most attractive women I have seen are Hawian/ Japanese, Truely stunningly beautiful.
Some Russian ladies are amazing, as are some Greeks, but as they get older, they are dreadfully.

Chinese and Japanese ladies can be amazingly beautiful, but again, they are poorly sometimes.
Their body shape is a little outputting, they tend to be quite small in several ways.

But African, or in fact any people with massive lips, huge noses and dark skin do not do it for me.
It's a fact that they smell different.
And their body shape is different, puts me off.

There are some rare exceptions in all of the above.
And what I consider beautiful, some may say is unattractive.

My wife was gorgeous when we started dating
Long flowing curly red hair
35, 23, 35 figure and the most beautiful face you can imagine.
At just under 5 foot, she was a real stunner, but her strict Christian upbringing stopped her from really understanding how beautiful she was.

She is 63 now, as am I.
She is still pretty to me, but age has worked it's way with us.
Her beautiful red hair has been replaced with grey, but the natural curls still are there.
Her laugh lines are proliferating and she hasn't the bounce in her step that she once had.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they say.
And love is a filter that changes the way we see each other.

Awwww that's beautiful 🥰

You my dear friend have a soul mate in that woman.

I know how that feels. I have a soul mate in my husband. I think that's why nothing else really matters. I couldn't care less about who he votes for etc.

All that matters is this : We found each other.

There is a problem with finally finding your soul mate though.

You worry that it's too good to be true because of all the previous negativity you've experienced in life at the hands of toxic narcissists.

And then there's this : What will happen if they die? How will you cope without the other half of your soul? I don't think I'd last long without him.

It's probably why I've become so addicted to growing fruit and veges on my farmlet here. I'm hoping it will keep my family healthy and alive. All my family ... even my soul mate/husband. He never wants to talk about scenarios where either he or I are no longer around. It's too painful for him too.

Anyway .... what's this topic about again?

41 years this year and still in love.

Every day is a treasure with her.

We met at 18, married at 22, but it still seems like yesterday.

As you have sated, my only worry is that we are getting on in years.
We are both 63 and even though both our families are long lived, eventually we will pass on.

My daughter said we are not allowed to die.
Neither of us, she wont hear of it, we have to live forever.
She is 26.
My granddaughter, immediately after attending my wife's fathers funeral, said that we were not going to die, she would not allow it.

My family are very close and its not a good idea to harass any of us, you take on one, you take us all on.

Ha! Sounds like my family!

Hey Valkie....are you European by any chance?

I'm first Gen Aussie of Italian and Greek descent.

Our families are very close.

Mixed, mostly Australian (4 or 5 generations) then English and Romanian.

But I understand what you are saying.
I have Italian, Greek and Portuguese mates, very close and extended families.
I also have friends who are Finnish, French, Russian, Check, Ukrainian and other cultures.

They all seem to have much closer ties to family than Aussies for some reason.
My Italian mate would not dare not seeing his parents for a week.
My Greek mate bought the house next door to his mother.
My Russian and Ukrainian friends have their parents living with them.

Get togethers are massive , as are weddings.

We have also been accepted as part of the family to many and expected to visit when ever we head to Sydney, makes a big day of it.

I HAVE A DREAM
A WONDERFUL, PEACEFUL, BEAUTIFUL DREAM.
A DREAM OF A WORLD THAT HAS NEVER KNOWN ISLAM
A DREAM OF A WORLD FREE FROM THE HORRORS OF ISLAM.

SUCH A WONDERFUL DREAM
O HOW I WISH IT WERE TRU

God I think I might know who you are 🤭

Nahhh just joking! Your description however is spot on! Yep you know exactly how we are. Always family orientated and we stick together through thick and thin. We support each other any way we can. Aussies tend not to do that as much. 😩

My first husband (who I was married to briefly) was your age ie OLD. And just like you ie FAT. And just like you he was a dysfunctional toxic narcissist.

Unlike you though, he's buried in a cemetery in Botany. Why do you ask? Do you want to visit his grave and put flowers there?

Oh.....now that your ask.  No, I can't visit his grave.  But, I'd love to see a photo of the headstone showing his name with a sign nearby saying, "Hi Aussie."

Can you manage that?
