Measles,Mumps, rubella vaccine is a sterilising vaccine which means it prevents you from getting infected which is why that vaccine can eliminate those problems.

You will never eliminate a virus like Kung Flu with current vaccines which are non sterilising which means people vaccinated can still catch this virus these vaccines only reduce severity of illness.

Best case scenario at present is Kung Flu will go from pandemic to endemic which means it will always be with us.

Since this virus is predicted to be endemic the best solution for kids is natural immunity as kids only get a mild infection if healthy.

Sure vaccines are important and people should get vaccinated

But the reason Queensland can't open it's border with New South Wales is because even without covid
Our public hospitals are at 100% capacity and ambulances can't be unloaded

That is nothing to do with polio or cholera or hepatitis a

That is wholly and solely to do with the fact that fat Steve and fat Janine and the 70% of the population who live the life of pure garbage like fat Steve and fat Janine
Are incredibly unhealthy and the hospital system is doing little more
Then treating lifestyle-related self-inflicted chronic pathology with zero chance of ever improving

Our public hospital system is sinking under the bloated bulk of lazy self entitled selfish unhealthy fat chodes who refuse to take any responsibility for their health

And it's not hard to imagine a strategy for full compliance.

After the 90% mark is reached voluntarily (which is likely), airline services will be restricted to fully vaccinated only. Next will likely be police powers to issue stay-at-home orders to individuals who cannot prove they're fully vaccinated. If the order is breached, courts will be empowered to suspend drivers licenses.

By this time next year, the remaining hold-outs will be managed on a case-by-case basis which, ultimately (if necessary) will include jail time for willful non-compliance without an exemption certificate.
