I'd be fine even if I turned up with $200 k ... it wouldnt matter at all what the number was because I'd be taking it back home with me. You on the other hand would need to get back on your knees to make up the money you just lost

None of that changes the fact that you lied. Anyone who was married to a forensic accountant that worked with police would know that gambling is illegal unless done through a licensed bookie.
