I lived in Wollongong from birth until I was 39, and have been on the GC ever since.

for some reason she has it in her head I'm someone else she knows. Which is probably better for me, She can torment them all she wants.

I had never heard of Yahoo until she appeared back on the scene!

Yet, we have this sign in system where if a minor logs on to read what is posted, it is assumed that the minor has logged on under false pretences of being an adult.

Forum rules are not criminal code laws. But forum rules do not give people the right to break the law. Police can investigate the matter and gather evidence to prosecute a member. The only requirement that they need is a confession that the person wrote what they said. All the keystrokes can be logged from their computer. And if the person says that they are the only user of the computer, that can be enough to hold them entirely responsible.
