For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.

Not that we have any evidence our resident evangelist speaks in tongues. I would however be interesting to hear him explain away the above passage.

As it’s something beyond our human understanding… the mystery of life… just seeing history coming to light that isn’t told … there were so many different others in this world before us… and then aliens. Advanced with spacecrafts extraordinaire and tech knowledge beyond us.

There’s all this talk of us as having a lot of “junk DNA”…. But maybe all the dots haven’t been joined yet?

What’s it to do with prayer? Perhaps all lifeforms have something in common….spirituality.

So when I pray, it's feels more like a wish…..full of hope and just putting it out there in the universe.
God … I believe is an almighty spiritual source.

Maybe not so in control on this erring earth… but has more control once we leave our earth bound physical bodies…
The question has been asked… are we just one big experiment?
Who or what has really been in charge?
So the purpose of life is…..(feel free to complete at will).

Prayer only helps the one praying because it gives them comfort. And there is nothing wrong with that.
