I can [am able to choose to] scare away demons, through the power of God [not my power].

I've done it [some years ago now] ! ....when a real, 'manifesting', demon was 'troubling' me, as i was still awaking from sleep.

That demon [which was a spirit] was trying to terrify me. ....it was intentionally trying to frighten me.

And, i remember that as it was happening, that i realised, that that, was what it was trying to do - to frighten me.

And i somehow knew, that i simply needed to call on the name of God.

And as i did so, that demon fled from my presence, INSTANTLY.

I could almost not believe, how instantly, that [very real] demon departed from my presence !!!

Wow !

God loves me !

How comforting for you to imagine demons are responsible for all those nasty urges that cross your mind. Your religion has yet to explain away how a God possessing omniscience could knowingly allow such a being to come into existence. Was your deity bored, stupid or just simply perverse ?

Stalin died of old age. Slavery lasted in the US from the 1600s until 1865—it was Union armies ended slavery, not the prayers of the slaves and abolitionists. Never assume that humans have no agency. They do.

God created humans with free will remember.

Our original parents used that free will to their detriment. And ours.

If such a God exists, he/she/it has played a very dirty game. Divine omniscience this deity is supposed to be equiped with means the eternal past and eternal future can hold no surprises. Hence either free will can never exist or your so called God knowingly set up the fall to sadistically amuse himself/herself/itself. The only alternative you have is in denying God’s omniscience.
