Like the chances of getting hit by lightning, shark attack while swimming, being rundown on the sidewalk, slipping over in the shower, being involved in an accident while driving, being hit by a meteorite &etc...

Do any of these risks prevent you from activities that include those risks?

You've assumed that life's risks come in at the same risk value for ALL human beings. They don't. The values differ from 1 human being to another.

Of course...

In some people, for example, their irrational fear of needles hyper-inflates their perception of risk associated with vaccination... Hence the obsession in some for finding a pill to ingest in lieu of vaccination via a hypodermic syringe.
