he said that for 1000's of generations, humans really only got carbs with high fructose in the form of seasonal fruits and they would gorge themselves and try to put on fat, because the fruit woul be gone pretty quick
so sweet stuff induces
1 increased appetite 2 increased fat storage.
i think that right
people who drink sweet drinks, eat biscuits and cakes and deserts, like white break, like all those processed carb products like breakfast cereals are always hungry and always fat.
i'm not saying people need to go full on paleo but i eat a helluva a lot of eggs and red meat and i never touch brekkie cereal , biscuits, bread or cake. or soft drink.
i just dont like them.
and i have heaps of energy.
i go bush walking with guys who have to munch a muesli bar (processed cabs with corns syrup) every 90 mintues and they always look like they are gunna pass out.
i just have a few hard boiled eggs and water and your body is full of energy.
i think if people just gave up carbs except for salads, avacados, tomatoes sweet potatoe and maybe a few oranges and bananas and ate more meat fish chicken eggs and beans , they would have heaps more energy and would shed kilos Here's one for you Aqua... Feeding mammals(rats?) a high fructose diet seems to induce the cilia in their gut to grow allowing more nutrients to be absorbed. While this may seem like a good thing, and it is, it's not a good thing if you eat a heap of fructose throughout the year ans as we see that leads to obesity. fructose (sugar) is quite rare in nature, it makes sense that animals have evolved to make the best use of it, like humans. Unfortunately from an evolutionary standpoint the best way to use fructose is to store it as fat and that doesnt work too well if sugar is constantly available and consumed as in modern diets. Fructose is common in nature it's found in these and other fruits. Bananas Apples Strawberries Oranges Mandarins Mango Grapefruit Peaches Apricots Grapefruit Some veggies containing fructose Tomato Onion Cucumber Asparagus Lettuce Beans Carrots Brussel sprouts Broccoli Sweet potato Spinich Peas Corn Potato Mushrooms Fruit and veggies contain fructose which is good for you it's low in calories it's absurd to claim it will make you fat. Are you claiming the fructose in tomatos can make you fat ? LMAO at your stupidity. Always better to eat the fruit instead of just drinking the juice. You should avoid processed sugars and things like high fructose corn syrup No, incorrect, not found in nature. Like all that list of fruits which you provide have been selected for over many generations to provide high amounts of fructose and bear little resemblance to what our ancestors ate for millions of years, this is exactly why our bodies immediately take fructose and store it as fat. Sugar is ancestrally rare for the body, there are no essential carbohydrates or sugars, only essential fats and proteins required by the body, thats because we evolved not to eat carbs, they just do not occur naturally in nature the way we are eating them. The only times our ancestors got a lot of carbs was from knocking down the occasional beehive and (sour) fruit in season, thats the other thing that you also miss. Modern fruit has also been selected and engineered for the most adaptable to bear fruit for longer, this is not how it occurs in nature. Dont you call yourself a farmer? Hang your head in shame for not knowing this basic stuff. Everything i listed is considered a Carb are you saying we shouldn't eat anything i listed because we evolved to not eat any of that? No, Im talking about the fruits on your list, fructose is the enemy and refined carbs. Carbs which come in most vegetables are not treated as sugars by the body. Think about hunter gatherers, thats our ancestry, and no, the paleo diet is bullsh1t because we did not evolve eating huge amounts of meat. The body has no requirement for essential carbohydrates, theres a reason for that. And the body stores excess sugars as visceral fat, not good and leads to leaky gut syndrome.
