I know you asked Bubby that question but IMO...Morrison corrected a mistake made by a former PM back in 2016 AND his response also considered Australia's position given a serious change in global circumstances since 2016.

How does that prove Macron lied. What did he lie about? He said that he knew Morrison lied. What lie of Morrison was Macron referring to?

In any event, I could not give a flying fuq about Macron. This is about the proven lie of Australian PM Morrison....contrary to the assertion of Morrison, Macron did not sledge Australia or Australians.

Do you accept that?

Why get the French involved at all?

The French have nuclear powered submarines so their diesel versions are now defunct. Australia would have been dumped with inferior weapons which the French no longer needed.

NB Diesel submarines have been around since the early 1900's....over 110 years ago 😳

Until they design a reactor that is small enough and quiet enough, there will always be a need for diesel /electric submarines.
