He has been charged with another offence apart from abduction.

Happened in WA, I think max 6 years presuming no actual abuse, considering mental impairment, best taxpayer funded legal team possible, I reckon he will get 4 years, be out in 2.

Surely the room full of dolls (assuming they're his) would tag him as being a total wackadoodle. Are there no mental health provisions to keep him banged up for a decade or two?

Unfortunately in WA there is nothing in the mental health act which can see him incarcerated indefinitely, the max is 28 days and that provision is more to protect the individual concerned than the community. They can sentence him to prison and then send him to Frankland which is where they house extremely violent people with mental health issues, but that has a long waiting list. They wouldnt do that anyway, theres totally wacadoodle violent serial killers waiting to get into Frankland because they wont take their meds, he will go to max and do his time there in protection, and probably get out on parole if he behaves himself.

Probably aggravated burglary with intent to commit offence so dont get too excited.

That's interesting.

Assuming he didn't touch her, and he does have some sort of serious mental health issue, I reckon he won't do any time in prison.

I usually see Tom Percy briefly in the morning, if I go into my office, so I'll ask him his thoughts on the matter tomorrow if he's around.
