So....I have been staying out of the discussion.  But, I am getting a tad sus about the blatant preening going on around WA Coppers.

I guess soon enough we will learn how they traced Cleo to that address, but I'll be very surprised if it comes down to something which does not include a great deal of luck.

One question for now.

Why did they have to break into that place with a door ram?  Were they unaware the girl was in there alone?  Did they have a search warrant, and if they did....you don't get one by clicking yer fingers.  Takes time, not a lot....but it takes time.  If they knew she was alone, entering in that fashion must have scared the living crap out of the kid.

And this public showing of the audio.  That's off I reckon.  The Cops assume it shows them in some sort of glory but I don't think so.  The questions sounded just like they were put to a street offender, very gruffly just like some aggro Copper on the street demands to have your name.

And what's that I hear about....'Bring in the camera?'

Are we now going to see WA Cops peacock themselves on video inside that bedroom?

Something is off about it all, and it will only be later that we will find out.

The guy is indigenous and already I see media speculation implying paedo inclinations with suggestions of a doll collection and public disclosure that when the Cops got to Cleo at a time when any four year old would normally be asleep, she was playing with 'toys.'

This whole case looks suspicious and it appears many people will make money from it, including the alleged perpetrator.

The police maximized their publicity.

ScoMo and all other politicians sought political gain from the 'abduction'.

Nobody at the campsite reported any man acting suspiciously. The alleged perpetrator apparently drove straight there and went straight to the tent.

Will the prosecution link Hillary Clinton and the US Democrat party to the abduction?

The two areas that need looking into are
A. the gofund me page started 2 days after she disappeared and then stopped two days before she was found with $80k in it's account. Apparently a friend started it and the money is supposed to go towards the small businesses in Carnarvon helping with the search, but then it also says some of the money goes to the parents ... how much goes to whom exactly and was said friend asked to start it or was it his own initiative?

B. When she was found she didn't seem in the slightest bit traumatised .... whilst that's great, it's very unusual.

I guess we'll have to wait for more details to come out, if it all comes out,  before we will know the full story.

This doll collection.

It seems no-one, prior to Cleo, thought it was odd, yet post Cleo it is negatively described and with sinister implications.

A female mate of mine in her 70s has a massive doll collection.  Shall I call the cops?

Just an aside.

My wife pointed out that there was a Bratz doll called Cleo.

I wonder, in his twisted little mind, he thought he was getting a living doll for his collection?

I just hope this does not affect the poor kid for the future

I could imagine that Cleo would grow up okay. At least until she gets a viewing of "Silence of the Lambs" for the first time. Replace "woman's suit" with "living doll" and that will trigger her. Pre-empting that movie viewing will be the articles she will read up about herself.
