In today's news, some school in Australia has students who choose to be 'cat-gender'

Didn't take long to travel from some UK university to Oz -- week or two?  Suggests the highly suggestible will jump on anything they're told is the new craze and kool

As a parent, would you continue to sacrifice your time, energy and cash to your child and its education/future if they declared they're cat-gender?  And surely those who've managed to remain child-free would consider making that a permanent option?

Nasty backstabbing managers, promotion of arselickers & dobbers.

Capable people leaving or forced out, leaving the place full of inexperienced incompetents who couldn’t run a raffle.

Women in managers roles who knew absolutely nothing about running a railway & thought because they had academic qualification they could do jobs they weren’t qualified in and enter critical safety areas that only qualified people were permitted in.

It became a very very toxic and more dangerous a work environment and Im glad I’m out of it retired for 2 years.

the 'furries' talk has been around for years online.  I didn't bother in the past to delve into it, suspecting it was something connected with BDSM or bestiality.  But according to Aussie news reports it's something more in line with Disney and simply involves identifying as animals in attire

The media did add that parents of the kids were not amused.  Kids being as many of them are, parental disapproval may well escalate their children's determination to be furries.  Best line of attack from parents might be to insist their cat-gender children go the full hog by wearing animal masks, furry mittens, etc. to school and outside school, beach, etc.  Real animals don't get to remove their skins and don a bikini, so nor should idiot fake animals.  Parents could also wear furry costumes at parents' meetings, when picking up their children from school and when doing the grocery shopping with their kids firmly in tow

I have never heard of this.  There was a news article circulating online about a school in New York about toilet provisions for students identifying themselves as 'furries'.  But that was discredited as fake.    You mention Australia news media.  Can you quote a link or scan us the paper?

It was reported this week that the National Gallery in Canberra will require all exhibitions to represent a split of 40 per cent female artists and 40 per cent male artists.

Interestingly enough, the plan does not require 20 per cent of donations to be from non-binary benefactors. But I digress.

National Gallery director Nick Mitzevich said the institution’s approach to quotas and gender diversity was common among many sectors (though mercifully not among brain surgeons or commercial pilots).
