Cleo Smith 'kidnapper' may have had accomplice
Nov 20th, 2021 at 1:17pm

Could the purported perpetrator have been merely a player, a stooge?

How did Terence Darrell Kelly sashay around the campsite conducting surveillance of young children without drawing attention to himself?

Who is the mystery woman?

Why has the reward not been claimed by the mystery caller?

Why are these facts published in Italian media and not Australian media?

https://www.unionesarda.it/en/world/cleo-smith-behind-the-kidnapping-the-hypothe...

Quote:
Cleo Smith, behind the kidnapping the hypothesis of a woman: "She dressed me and combed me"
The police have returned to the city where she was found and where the little girl lives in search of new clues. The kidnapper's neighbors: "Impossible to have looked after the child alone"

New twist on the investigation into the kidnapping of little Cleo Smith, the 4-year-old Australian girl found safe and sound on the night of November 3, after being kidnapped on October 16 from the campsite where she was on holiday with her family.

The Australian police are in fact investigating the hypothesis that another person, perhaps a woman, may have been involved in the kidnapping of the little girl, found at the home of Terence Darrell Kelly in Carnarvon, the hometown of Cleo and her family.

The 36-year-old was locked up in a high-security prison in Perth, but police returned to the coastal town to "ascertain if anyone else was involved."

According to the Daily Mail Australia newspaper, a woman may have helped Kelly take care of little Cleo by dressing and combing her every day. And of the same opinion those who knew the kidnapper well. “I said right away, alone he would never have been able to look after a little girl. He didn't do everything by himself, someone helped him ”, commented Terry Kelly's neighbor on TV yesterday.

Then there is the statement of little Cleo, who when questioned by experts told how in the days of the kidnapping to take care of her, in that house filled with Bratz dolls that the 36-year-old collected almost obsessively, there was "also a woman".

"He used to come home, dress me, brush my hair," Cleo would tell the psychologists.

Meanwhile, no one has cashed in the Aussie million dollar bounty promised to anyone who would help find Cleo. Yet, it seems it was a man, with a phone call, who put the agents on the right track, that of Terry Kelly's house in Tonkin Crescent.

Nothing adds up about this case. We will have to rely on Cleo's account of what had happened to get an idea of how Ellie and Jacob could sleep through an abduction. Cleo would have made a noise, unless she was drugged in her sleep. And the zip on the tent would have made enough noise that even a heavy sleeper would have awoken, not to mention two heavy sleepers.

Ellie presented herself in the interview very smugly in the interview. It was almost like she was trying to stop herself from giggling. As if her smirk was her way to repressing a confession. Jacob, on the other hand, seemed to have a sour grapes look. He was anticipating an attack that he would have to counter unprepared.

Describing how it felt, Ellie described the abduction as "heart-breaking, heart-wrenching". Jacob chimed in with "scary?". Both answered like they were questioning their own answers. "We love our daughter" *shaking head 'no'* Cleo's name is rarely mentioned. The interviewer provided that coverage of Cleo's name so that the couple did not have to say her name.

And with Cleo being found minutes from the family's home, I doubt very much that Ellie and Jacob were not involved or did not know who was the abductor.

A compelling question, Laugh. I put it to you that someone among us is an accomplice to this vile crime. The question is who.

Who has aided and abetted in this shocking child abduction?

The questions to be asked would be the plausibility of the kidnapper living minutes from Cleo's house. And factor in that the kidnapper happened to be at the campsite when Cleo's family was there. This is an 80km drive from Carnavon. So, for both the family and the "kidnapper" to be in the same place on the same day, and having lived "minutes" apart from each other in Carnavon, it would suggest a conspiracy to kidnap Cleo. The odds of being at a same location, 80km from home, on the same day would suggest nothing more than a remote coincidence. Otherwise, it was a planned kidnapping with more going on than what we are told.

A kidnapper with a fascination with dolls, travelling some distance to a place, just to pick up a child -- when he could have just got Cleo from her family home in Carnavon, the odds are that this was a planned conspiracy of more than one person. Cleo, fed and looked after for more than 2 weeks, suggests that Cleo was not in considerable danger, other than being with a child predator. But, we can leave that to investigators and Cleo's recollection to make that determination.

I have got to admire the journalist's interviewing technique. And the body language experts showed great restraint in their impressions of the interview of Ellie and Jake. All we need to do now is let the investigators do their job and we can put it all together critiquing the findings.
