In Las Vegas, the Lyft driver couldn't find me so gave me a ring. I told him I was standing in front of a restaurant called "Big Wong" and we both had a laugh.

Mr and Mrs Wong had a baby and they called it Sum Ding Wong and it turned out to be a lesbian anti Australian high ranking politician.

Anyone got a link that shows exactly what The Wong said?  Penny and her lesbian 'wife' had a baby.. two Wongs didn't make it, right?

HERE! Let me try for you - The Guardian - it puts up a thing about 'you choose mo'focka' but I can still scroll and read:-

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/nov/22/penny-wong-decries-morris...

Apparently CCP posturing over Taiwan etc has nothing to do with China being 'assertive', but is really an 'election tactic' by the Morrison government.

WTF has she been smoking?  Even the Labor Party expressed concerns over Chinese 'assertiveness' which includes such things as invading neighbours, so where does The Wong actually stand, and why?

Pissing into the wind if you ask me..... is the world to stand by, as it did with Rwanda, and allow an entire small nation that has declared independence to be massacred and enslaved?  First we'll take Taipei, then we'll take Hanoi, Manila and all points East, South and West.

Is that what we've become?  Craven cowards who lie down when someone raises a voice and threatens us?  To quote Jack Ripper (Dr Strangelove) we might as well get it over with now.. it's going to happen anyway.

Nobody wants any war - but it is hardly the fault of anyone but the 'assertive' China that this is becoming more and more probable.  The West needs to cut trade with China now, rebuild its own industrial networks with more congenial nations, and let China wither on the vine NOW!

When Ah were a child in a hugely dysfunctional family - there were only two ways of resolving disputes - doing nothing or fighting.  Later I had to learn to be Assertive instead - being Assertive means stating your position calmly with strength - it does not mean lying down like a dog or rattling the sabre and threatening to wipe out the 'other side'.

Could someone explain to me how the current Chinese stance is 'assertive'?  They threatened to bomb Australia and Japan, they went into a rant over Australia acquiring weapons of of defence called nuclear powered submarines, they're going to fix Taiwan etc by any means, they are constantly pushing out illegally into the South china Sea and threatening their neighbours....

How is any of that 'assertive'?  Mealy-mouthed modern type expression right there - no wonder the Chinkers think we're pussies...

Wenny Pong is Malaysian Chinese so I doubt there's CCCP pressure, her Chinese appeasement is probably a product of her being in the Labor left silo think.

Pong is one of those politicians who I like but disagree with just about every position they hold.

Amazing how out of touch these people are - and paid handsomely to be so.... for life and beyond.

Graps...

In 1991, around 250 protesters were shot in what became known as the Dili Massacre. This too was dismissed as an “aberration” by the then Hawke government and when Mr Keating became PM later that year the first country he visited was Indonesia. And in 1995, Australia and Indonesia signed a sweet little security pact.

East Timor had been subjected to the most brutal and horrific oppression by Jakarta but Canberra cosied up to the oppressor because it was assumed there was nothing we could do.

But we were wrong. Less than five years later the Howard government managed to facilitate the independence of East Timor, using Mr Howard’s own wily pragmatism combined with a dash of moral courage.

There is still a deafening silence in the Labor Party on what it did to East Timor. And that silence is the echo of what Mr Keating says about China today.

I still love Paul Keating, I still love the Labor Party and I still love pragmatism. But pragmatism only has a purpose if it is directed towards an ultimate greater good.

She was born in MALAYSIA to an Australian mother & a father of Hakka Han(chinese) descent.

She came to Australia when she was 8 .....

I doubt she has family oppressed in Malaysia nor China.

And if you remember rightly it was the Gough Whitlams & Paul Keatings of our political history with a penchant for pissing in Beijings pockets.

Wong is just following Labor policy.

Pity she wasn't as outspoken about the Chinese human rights abuses.

China is no ones friend except Chinas.

Yes, a pity and a mystery that would be best explained by Wong herself.

I fear that the Labor Party, since it's turning inwards under the feminist rule, has lost sight of any 'greater good' in its utter confusion of ideology.  Even the Dili Massacre - and I have long railed against Australia's supine behaviour on that one etc - occurred at the time when Labor was transiting to becoming a gynocracy, and was enforcing affirmative action in the party and down into the Union movement - of which latter I was part, and as a delegate targeted by management - was refused even the opportunity to apply for work direct with the Union to suit affirmative action (under the guise of EEO).... No Country For Any Men
(White that is)
... and look at the Union joint now.... Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Look at the place today, with its wishy-washy social science gynocratic silliness better suited to a discussion of the evils of the old man over a sherry in the lady's parlour at the local pub... and its utter lack of real balls to stand up to the realities of the cold hard world.

Too many centuries as a protected species does not suit women to run the show in any way....

Heat too hot in the kitchen comes to mind...

Why?  Is criticism of the flawed non-thinking of a political figure now racism?  Is commenting on some half-baked backroom ideological concept now racism?

Is everything racism when it suits, just to shut down discussion?

HERE!  You hand the keys of Asia and Australia over to the CCP then .... I take no responsibility and will retire to a mountain top where one day the CCP, once they take over, will dig me out as an anti-social element for seeking my own total independence......

Remember Hue?  Seek the middle ground between Communist and US-backed government, and pursue the way of peace and neutral independence - and you end up in a mass grave shot through the head.
