Why did the Liberal cross the floor?

To get to the other side!

Yeah, well - Morro did promise to secure Canadair CL-415 dedicated water bomber aircraft, one Sunday night in a one hit wonder announcement that everyone missed while lapping up Sunday night TV... you guys seen the turnaround time on one of those aircraft with a full load of water?

No action yet.... this summer is setting up to be a wet one - 55 mm last night on top of 61 - wait until next year if we have a dry one and hot winds...

$30m each - x 10 = $300m + training + hourly running costs of $11,000 (compared to the 737 sexy one hit wonder at $60,000 ph or more, run five directly onsite at that rate with a massively faster turnaround to fill and drop). A billion or two should see you up and running... chicken feed...

This came just a couple of days after Lambie's threat to unseat Liberals in Tasmania. Archer holds Bass, which is the most marginal Coalition seat in the country.
