In my gun club back Stateside we used to talk about that a lot, & most of my club's members wouldn't give those pollsters the correct time of day.....period.

I would be willing to bet that a lot of gun owners, myself included, wouldn't want to tell anyone that calls in that they had firearms....not knowing who they actually were, besides what tell you they claim to be......could be the government---you never tell the government the truth about anything unless your under oath, or it could be someone looking to set you up for a break-in/robbery.

There's no law in lying to a pollster, or even the government for that matter, unless you are sworn in & under oath, in the actual presence of a judge of the court, & even then you have your 5th Amendment Rights to refuse to answer......

A more accurate number would probably somewhere around 150 Million, but the government will tell you, they flat out don't know because there's no accurate records anywhere in America regarding who owns what, & where......& that's a good thing......it's no business of theirs what firearms anybody owns...Fvrcck the government.....especially the Feds!

We went far past sensible laws a long time ago. Since then we have seen laws intended to make sheep out of citizens but do nothing about injury to individuals. Currently we see a justifiable reluctance by Police to do their job for fear of prosecution for small or imagined misbehavior. We see the truly dangerous criminal released with little or no bail by Soros financed prosecutors. Continuing on with the theater of the absurd, Liberals are now wanting to assign "life coaches" to these repeat offenders. You need to get past this attitude that a criminal in the process of committing a violent crime has more Rights then the victims. Self defense is a human right whether your government recognizes it or not. When government insists on continuing to pass more laws and ignore the ones already available chances are they just want more restrictions on the honest people and have no intention of stopping any kind of crime!

In the news yesterday was a video of a 7 year old child caught stealing a bag of chips from a store. The Police put him in the back of a patrol car and took him home to tell his Father what he had done. No charges were ever considered and the child was not restrained. Our so called news media has tried to make something racist about this but so far it has gotten very little negative reaction from the Public. That little boy may grow up to be a Policeman rather then a thug or at least an honest citizen who learned his lesson early in life!
