You are a victim of NRA propaganda, Mort. Go back to school, get a proper education, one that doesn't rely on what the NRA bullshits you with. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
And what propaganda are you the victim of, cockwomble??? (I know, I know, FD should answer your question first.....)
The Swiss stance is one of "armed neutrality." Switzerland hasn't taken part in any international armed conflict since 1815, but some Swiss soldiers help with peacekeeping missions around the world. Many Swiss see gun ownership as part of a patriotic duty to protect their homeland.
Switzerland has mandatory military service for men. All men between the ages of 18 and 34 deemed "fit for service" are given a pistol or a rifle and trained. After they've finished their service, the men can typically buy and keep their service weapons, but they have to get a permit for them.
Oh, and look what's on the Swiss flag, Bbwian. Tsk, tsk
Who cares, Soren? The Swiss, unlike the Americans, undergo strict military training. The Swiss also are subject to strict military discipline if they misuse their privately stored weapons without permission. The Americans in comparison are cowboys, shooting each other up with wild abandon everytime they get looked crookedly at. In Switzerland, the citizens if they misuse their weapons have to face a military court. A court considerably harsher than a civil one. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
Also - no black gangsta kulcha, no red indians and no open borders to drug dealers in Switzerland.
Young Black men and teens made up more than a third of firearm homicide victims in the USA in 2019, one of several disparities revealed in a review of gun mortality data released Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The analysis, titled "A Public Health Crisis in the Making," found that although Black men and boys ages 15 to 34 make up just 2% of the nation's population, they were among 37% of gun homicides that year.
That's 20 times higher than white males of the same age group.Of all reported firearm homicides in 2019, more than half of victims were Black men, according to the study spearheaded by the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence and the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. Sixty-three percent of male victims were Black.
The contrast is even more stark when the rates were compared with white people: Across all ages, Black men were nearly 14 times more likely to die in a firearm homicide than white men, and eight times more likely to die in a firearm homicide than the general population, including women.

By race/ethnicity among males:
• Black males are disproportionately impacted and have by far the highest rate of gun
death, nearly twice as high (1.8x) as the second-highest (and also disproportional)
rate of gun death among American Indian/Alaska Native males. Continuing in order
descending by rate are White, Latino/Hispanic, and Asian/Pacific Islanders. Black
males were more than twice as likely to die by firearms than White males in 2019
