No, the Second Amendment is about defense against our own government becoming oppressive and other internal threats. It isn't about joining the Armed Forces during a time of war.

There is one supplementary note by someone in a document written outside of the constitution that supports that view however around 6 different passages in the constitution disagree and label it illegal to fight the government.
