Shocking but that's what happens when the allies lost the war.
The Afghan army ran like rabbits from the Taliban as soon as we left Afghanistan.
The Taliban were only bearded fighters in Toyota SUVs with AK47s
but somehow the Afghan army with all their modern equipment ran away.
They and their families will pay a very heavy price for their cowardice.

Call me skeptical but why would the Taliban send a letter to people they were intending to arrest? An un announced pre-dawn kicking in of the door is more in keeping with the modus operandi of these people. Could this letter have been produced to gain sympathy and a fast track to resettlement?
