You know that's figurative, not literal, right?

Oh yes. What figuratively does it conjure up images of?

Is it now controversial to use a simile to describe symptoms when you're sick?

When it is an outright lie, yes.

Of course, to see how my family's experience with Omi compared with others.
Seems to be about on par with most.

Stock up on some iceblocks in case (when) you guys get it, they've been really helpful.

Today, she's playing piano, watching Corba Kai S4.
People feel bad then get better. Is that controversial?

Oh i think it's enough.

You grossly exaggerated your daughter's symptoms to garner sympathy on here, then when it was pointed out to you that your claims were in direct contradiction to your established stance, you went on the attack.

Typical Gordy behaviour.

Can never be 100% sure. We just got back from a week in Byron then a week in the GC.

In Byron, we had the requisite PCR test to get the QLD border pass.

The day we checked out to go to QLD we hadn't got our PCR tests back we drove up the coast a bit to wait and cross fingers. By lunch all bar my wife's test came back, so I bought a couple of RA tests and did one on her (neg) and thought the border police may allow show some discretion. We had no clue how the border was being managed and we were close to the 72 hour window. So would they turn us back if we crossed outside the 72 hour window? Anyway, not long after that her test finally came back. The border was a joke anyway, not stopped, waved right thru. Thanks, Anna!

In Byron, we hardly went, only ate out once, a few drives and the beach was a few steps from our rental.

In QLD, we ate at the surf clubs every night, hit Pacific Fair a few times. GC was busier than Byron!

First symptoms appeared when we got home, 8 days after we entered QLD.
Omi is now the dominant strain and has an average incubation period of about 3 days. So odds are GC but I don't care because we're all Aussies, and this disease came from CHINA.

A bad hangover?
Hypoglycemic?
The flu?

Feel free to search those for "hit by a"...

Perhaps you should ask how hard they were hit and how fast the bus/truck/etc was travelling before asking what images it conjures up?
