However, the majority of coral without zooxanthellae starve.

And that links to AIMS and apart from saying that it shows no PROOF. Just a bald statement.

However further on in the same article -

"It can take decades for coral reefs to fully recover from a bleaching event, so it is vital that these events do not occur frequently.  If we continue burning fossil fuels at our current rate, severe bleaching events are likely to hit reefs annually by the middle of the century. This would be devastating for coral reefs as they would have no chance to recover."

https://www.marineconservation.org.au/coral-bleaching/

According to the graph using AIMS data it hasn't taken decades to recover from bleaching. The graph shows recovery from all sources - Accident, Storm, Crown of Thorns infestation, bleaching. Roll Eyes

So exactly how many died when corals recovered so fast? Roll Eyes

So what you are saying is, other than where it provides proof, it does not provide proof?

Coral bleaching has occurred for over 300 years. It is when the corals expel their symbiont zooxanthellae. The corals DON"T die.

Do you still stand by this lie Lee?

Where exactly is the PROOF. Roll Eyes

If I were to write " freediver is a crossdresser" - would that be proof that you were? Smiley

It is certainly what I believe. Do you have evidence contrary?

"Mortality extent is usually estimated visually by divers.Details are given in the AGRRA and MBRS methods manuals."

https://www.healthyreefs.org/cms/healthy-reef-indicators/coral-mortality/

Estimations are not evidence. Wink

You don't have any evidence against the existence of unicorns either Lee.

You are being irrational.

What is the real reason? Or are you not really that gullible?

Ah the person who can read between the lines. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

"A unicorn is a legendary creature that is known to possess magical abilities. Though in modern day this creature is thought to be nothing more than a myth, ancient cultures wrote of it as a real animal. In fact, it was included in many natural history books of the time."

So do you have evidence it is only a myth? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I saw a Unicorn once at the bottom of my garden -
he was carrying a leprechaun.
