Huh? You can't be one without the other. It just depends on their interpretation of "jihad".

And if you amalgamate The Taliban and Al Qaeda you get terrorists.

Two ideologies that may ally themselves when convenient doesn't make them the same.

US forces and the Mujahedeen were obviously driven by vastly different ideologies, but they allied with each other against the Soviets.

With Islamists and Jihadists - When the Islamists gain their state, that's when their alliance usually ends and then they turn on each other.

So bottom line : terrorists have their own particular ideological objectives.

That doesn't negate the fact that they are still terrorists.

And the groups you've mentioned ARE global terrorists with an abhorrent track record.

Yes. I think she can be forgiven, not least because the perception of race being an issue of black vs white is universal among African-Americans.

Being Jewish is. Sorry but you can't slot everything into the pre set categories you've got in your mind's eye. That's not how it always works.

Think of it like this : You have a lot of socks drying on the line and all get paired up beautifully and folded nicely and neatly to slot into the drawer. Then there's the ever present odd sock. No. apologies don't make 'everything good' but even children know that.

But sincere apologies for our misdeeds go considerable way towards mitigating the damage we may have done.

Whoopie not only apologised, she explained how she had been educate3d.
