And as regards the notion of being Jewish I can tell you now that those definitions you've used are purely religious driven. It's not correct. Jewish people would be offended at your definition. They have always remained separate. From the get go. That is why they have maintained strict divisions btwn themselves and others. To an ethnic Jew these 2 divisions still stand : Jews vs Gentiles.
You're just choosing to smudge this very real and highly respected cultural tradition that stems from

Israel has had an awful history and the people from there ie the Jews were forced into exile whilst being exterminated. They were in effect alienated from their homeland for many years leaving it vulnerable for Arabs to move in and take over while they were busy being exterminated elsewhere.
Next you'll be saying Jews should never have been given their own state back. You better not start on that because I swear I'm going to tear into you. I happen to believe people have a right to retain their ethnicity in ANY country they live in. And they also have the right to return to the country representing their ethnic heritage.
