It's true that CRT proponents advocate for a form of ethno-chauvinism - and a very over-simplistic American form of it - black vs white). They justify this in the form of 'anti-racist' exceptionalism.

The uber-religious do this too - i.e. It's OK to break god's laws in pursuit of god's detractors.

It does not start by blame. It starts by identifying oppressor and oppressed races (in the simplistic American mind that equates to white and black 'races'). It is then a short hop to an American favorite pastime - witch-hunting.

It is absolutely about identifying an oppressor race, even if it concedes that an individual offender may not be aware he is an offender, in CRT that doesn't mitigate in favour of the oppressor race.
