...She's just another comfortable conservative not willing to examine the causes of poverty, latching onto CRT as a diversion to avoid dealing with disadvantage.
She says: "CRT: an ideology that sees my blackness as victimhood, and their whiteness as oppression".
Dumb bitch.. what about whites living in poverty, are they "oppressors" too?
What she says pretty well sums up the notion of CRT in
simple terms.
Yes, but CRT is a diversion; on the Left, because the Left thinks racism is the main cause of
black poverty/disadvantage; on the Right , because the Right thinks poverty is a result of failure to take responsibility for one's own life.
Quote:And re whites living in poverty, what about America's list of
billionaire blacks?
Quote:In recent years, with interest in inequality and the racial wealth gap, the study of
Black contributions to the growth of American capitalism has grown. It has revealed
that Black entrepreneurs played an active role in the growth of American
capitalism, especially since the 19th century. Between 1870 and 1940, patents
by residents of Washington, Maine, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Indiana, as well
as those born in those states, were higher for Black inventors than for White
inventors.

Addressed above, you have just shown that poverty is NOT mainly a RACE-based issue, as asserted by the Left, and ridiculed by the Right.
Poverty is an
economic systems problem; the current mainstream neoliberalism has resulted in increasing inequality - and social instability (eg "BLM" protests) since the 80's, regardless of race.
