Of course ethno-chauvinism is unjust.

But what cannot be done is for ethno-chauvinism to be socially engineered out of another's psyche.

Legislation does not alter the human instinct to discriminate; it just proscribes against acting on those instincts - as it should.

What CRT is about is making the claim that 'once an oppressor, always an oppressor unless you undergo a conversion therapy requiring permanent self-loathing and being mindful of the actions of those who've gone before, whether or not they were actually your ancestors - they were, at least, your skin colour.

What can be taught is that we all have the instinct to discriminate with nearly everything imaginable and we must learn to be aware of it, such that our higher faculties can moderate our initial instinctive reaction.
