Ok today I'm going to try another way.

I'll start off with Frank's starting word:

Ok I started off with :

S T A R E

I solved it ✅......but on the 5th turn 😔🥺

That's a failure FOR ME as my objective is to solve Wordle within 2 or 3 turns.

Tomorrow I'm going to try Red's starting word.

I'll post up my screenshot later on this afternoon AFTER everyone has had a go and I get the go ahead from Aussie.

NYT's wordle is low-tech designed by a Welsh guy, Josh Wardle, for a bit of fun with a mate during the pandemic.

When it went wildly viral, NYT bought it but did not improve the original simple design.

That's why it's so easy to hack.

But who the hell would do that? I found out accidentally. Lisa appears to have cheated that way.

Originally wordle competition groups took the comp seriously - i.e. if you bummed out (didn't get the word within 6 tries), you were out of the comp.

Of course, it took IT guys 3 minutes to find hacks for it and 'winning' comps when, ordinarily, while they were great tech guys, were near-on dyslexic.

It would be a little disappointing. Figuring out, narrowing down, eliminating letters and then guessing from the remainders - that's the mild frisson of wordle.

1. To solve Wordle in 1 turn involves guesswork based on personal strategies as per our previous posts + luck.

2. Spelling bee??? I'm going there now!!

Edit : Frank .... this one?? Spelling Bee

How many words can you make with 7 letters?

https://www.nytimes.com/puzzles/spelling-bee
👆 Have you done today's puzzle yet?

I usually do this puzzle but with 5 + letters. Ok I'll see how many words I get. Cheers.
