Tomorrow I'm going to try Red's starting word. I'll post up my screenshot later on this afternoon AFTER everyone has had a go and I get the go ahead from Aussie.

Originally wordle competition groups took the comp seriously - i.e. if you bummed out (didn't get the word within 6 tries), you were out of the comp.

Of course, it took IT guys 3 minutes to find hacks for it and 'winning' comps when, ordinarily, while they were great tech guys, were near-on dyslexic.

It would be a little disappointing. Figuring out, narrowing down, eliminating letters and then guessing from the remainders - that's the mild frisson of wordle.
