Can we please keep 'Wordle' free of the crappy personal wars.  That does not mean you cannot question the 'luck' of anyone who gets the answer in sus circumstances, but I want all the other bullshit kept out.  Thanks.

Questioning luck is different to accusations of cheating by a PA and OzPol serial 80 yr old drunken pest who lives 24/7 only to hijack topics and forums with incessant and ridiculous accusations AND/OR to talk about alcohol ffs!

Wordle 425 2/6

⬜🟨⬜⬜🟨
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Knew it in my waters it was something nasal....

Next step: get it in one.

It would be a little disappointing. Figuring out, narrowing down, eliminating letters and then guessing from the remainders - that's the mild frisson of wordle.

Spelling bee is harder

1. To solve Wordle in 1 turn involves guesswork based on personal strategies as per our previous posts + luck.

2. Spelling bee??? I'm going there now!!

Edit : Frank .... this one?? Spelling Bee

How many words can you make with 7 letters?

https://www.nytimes.com/puzzles/spelling-bee
👆 Have you done today's puzzle yet?

I usually do this puzzle but with 5 + letters. Ok I'll see how many words I get. Cheers.

I did get Wordle in one fairly recently.  Cool

Yes, it is of course pure guesswork. I used the same opening word every time, so I suppose it was on the cards to come up sometime.

I have now changed my starting word to see if will get it in one again sometime in the future.

p.s.

Spelling Bee is OK ... but as a fan of 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown, I find it to be reasonably easy.

You solved Wordle in 1 turn?? OMG! Here I was thinking it's probably like winning Powerball ie I STILL don't know anyone who's won it.

Re Spelling Bee ...I don't want to subscribe to NYT.

I'm doing more Wordle puzzles in btwn household chores (not prepared to wait for NYT to release 1 per day). Practice is the best way IMO (to see if you can beat your record).
