Is 'would' out of the question as a first option?  It is as good as 'mount.'  A very common non fancy word.

And....if you say I have _owl_ (and I don't) there are pretty much only few choices...but I have not established that the 'owl' is in place.

Seems to me, you know the outcome already.  How did you know the outcome?  Did you solve it...or cheat?

What got me wondering about Wordle was how many non-Anglophonic countries did so well on average.
